I know I read your posts about that. I didn't see you in any of them, but today when I got on FB I recognized the girl in the photos as someone from this forum. I couldn't believe they are still at it!
Apparently I'm a *spammer* now for posting that link according to the dumba** moderators on this forum so oh well. Just trying to warn the girl whose photos were used since I don't remember her username on here. Was hoping she'd see this post...
In the future, I'd appreciate not being called a dumbass. I don't stoop to that level nor do I base my experience with one person in a group and generalize that to all others in the group.

I received an email from this member cussing at me about it. I told him that as mods we delete lots of spam everyday and this is one that I acted too quickly over. I did apologize to him.
***on a side note, i'm 99% certain the woman he's referring to is not a member of the forum. Which is another reason why I questioned the post.

ya that is really sad they are using her pictures now..when i saw that it made me so angry! They should NOT be able to do that...its just plain WRONG! When they had mine up it was mostly on myspace ads for that acia crap too...i had so many people emailing me asking me if i knew about it...i emailed myspace even to have them do something about it..but obviously they didnt email me back and i got one site that was using my pictures shut down but then another one would pop right back up with a different story and crap...but i have not seen any of my pictures up for awhile now so that is good...but its not good that they are now using someone elses. So just to let everyone know that you should really watermark your pictures as best as you can so they can't use them..i know some people are good at removing the watermarks but there is only so much you can do. So everyone just be careful!

The pic in the original link that I saw was some blonde girl w/ glasses and curly hair...i dont' know where the miscommunication is..but it wasnt' the girl your posting...i dont' know if maybe the link got typed up wrong...maybe i didnt' scroll all the way down, or something...i dont' know...and Quiet frankly, it does not matter who is in the picture. i didnt' delete the link because of the picture in question. I deleted it b/c I thought it was spam. It looked like it to me. As I've said before I MADE A MISTAKE. I delete tons of spam every week and I acted too quickly in this ONE incident and I have apologized now, SEVERAL times for the mistake.
Honestly people...I have been a loyal member and moderator of this forum for several years now. I have worked very hard to keep the forum cleaned up and keep members as happy as I can, and this is what I get? hung because I made one mistake?? I deserve more respect than this. Let he who has not sinned, cast the first stone.

Ok, look ... for god's sake. I REPORTED this post as spam. So there. String me up along with Korrie.
In the last 3 or 4 days there have been at least 2 posts a day with something like this that has to do with Acai - either a "can you compare these" or a "they took your photo" that links directly to some sales site. When someone is a brand new poster and they post a link to something that has already been spammed to death on the site, I think there's reason to question it.
I certainly don't think there's a reason to bash the moderators or call them assholes or anything else. It's not like they get paid for the work they put in here.

well thank you for that post. I knew I wasnt' crazy. Like I said, i see tons of spam and acia berry seems to be the biggest offender. I dont' spend alot of time looking at sites if they appear initially to be spam....
KC, for some reason, SOME members, not all, of course, don't seem to recognize all the good that mods do...only the occasional slip.

So I just looked up hondagirls diary and found that 2 member notified her a while ago about these photos being stolen and her responce was....
While she's acknowledging that the photos were stolen, she sure doesnt' seem to be very upset about it...weird.
