abs...

i know there should be a good amount of recovery time with weight lifting, but i heard with abs you could do them everyday and it would be o.k... is this true?? if not how many days should i wait??

This is pointless, If you look around the forum you will see that this question is answered almost every day.

Train your abs like every other muscle. High intensity, longer rest periods.

We might as well get rid of the search tool. I even posted one question and two days later someone posted the same thing with the same title pretty much on the same page.

tygerfan24 is new to the forum & may not have looked around to see there is a search tool let alone know how to use it!

Point the poor soul to the right direction. I am sure over 70% of questions asked here are not unique & have been answered before in some way! :p

I find it unsulting that I spend lots of my time writing up posts to help others. Then some one comes along and wants me to write it up again.

And tonymcclellan is right, The same topic with the same title is on the same page.

If a question has been answered and you know it has been answered, why not just post a link to the answer in question instead of bitching? Especially if you are aware its on the same page.....I'm sure it would take no more effort than moaning and is more likely to make new members feel welcome...

not really.

Have you seen how many members there are and the average number of post?

90% of this forums members are lazy people. They sign up, they dont even look around before they start posting mindless questions that they could have answered themselves.

I even spend time writing for the FAQ topics so good info stays at the top. But they dont even bother to read them.

They dont put anything back in to the forum, they only waste space on the servers.

Now... some guys come here and are polite, they read the other posts and ask sensible questions when they are confused about something. They ask questions like
"I have a pain - what should I do" and
"Ive tried this and it doesnt work -what should I do"

I have all the time in the world for these people.

Its the ones that start off
"Help, Im fat. Write me a program. How do I get fit?"
They are the people that frustrate me.

And the reason I don’t post the link is because I don’t want to help them. I want them to go away, read, and then I’ll help all I can. Plus if a senior member has moaned about trolling, then other noobs may read it and think twice about mindless posting.

Im sorry if I have offended anyone, I just feel that there is so much GREAT information here from Dex, JP, Evo, Mriek, Malkore and many others that its is a shame it all gets pushed down to the depths of the servers.
If there was not so much trolling, it would be easier for noobs to read up on everything they want to know.

alright guys, sorry if i rubbed the wrong feathers here. i just wanted to know the answer to the question. i looked down the page and didn't see a topic on this, and didn't know about the search tool. but now i know, thanks for the advice and sorry for the trouble.

Apology’s are always welcome. and think you.

The recovery time will change depending on how much damage you do to the abs whilst training. some people 24-36 hours others 72hrs. It depends on so many diffrent things.

Look in the bodybuilding section there is a basic lay out of a good core workout program. Have a read thru and then come back here if youhave any questons.

Not trying to throw fuel to the fire, and I am by no means a senior member or expert, but before I signed up, I searched and read topics for awhile. I wanted to make sure it seemed as people knew what they were talking about, as I have seen some other forums that were very mediocre. It takes longer to sign up and post then to search for something. Every website these days has a search button, even porn probably lol. He's right about how the same posts push down the useful ones, I have to go searching for posts that were just done to find the useful information I wanna read again.
I like the fact that there are posts over and over to an extent. Like he said after you have searched, and still dont understand. Its always good to give information to someone, its what this forum is for.
Not directed at anyone, just my feelings on my post above.
