Abs

I was wondering if there is a more effective excercise than sit-ups that I can do at home to help devolop my abs. Any ideas?
 
Sit ups can be very effective, but throwing in a few more wouldn't hurt. Try holding your legs out straight at about a 45 degree angle off the ground. Another simple one is holding your legs about six inches off the ground. Variations of the crunch work too - stick your legs straight up and then do some crunches, or bend your knees to a 90 degree angle (still holding them in the air). Side ups work your obliques.

although thats a good exercise to tighten your ab muscles there also called military leg lifts its not to healthy for your lower back puts alot of pressure on it
