Abs

I'm lookin' for tips on how to get a 6-pack. I've put myself on a 6 week timetable. I don't expect washboard abs, but I hope to see atleast a little something. Right now I have a gut... No denying that.

But my methodas of right now is... Eating about 1,500 calories a day. 100-200 unweighted situps before I go to sleep everynight.

I'm trying to add in treadmill time at the gym, plus AB time at the gym.

What else can I do to start seeing results in a 6-8 week timeframe. I mean I'll work my ass of if it means gettin' into beter shape then I'm in now. I'm about 6'1 168 but I really don't look 168.

Pleas help!!!

First off... there should be absolutely no reason to do 100+ situps... (Half of a sit-up your working your abs, the other half you are working your hip-flexors)... You should look up more effective abdominal exercises than just sit-ups/crunches...

Doing nothing but abdominal exercises is not going to help you that much because the only thing that they do for fat is smush it and work the abs underneath the fat...

You need to monitor your diet and do cardio... this is where the main fat loss will occur... just remember... the first place fat is stored (which for most guys is the stomach) is the last place fat is loss... I don't mean this to scare you, but just as a "future warning" because it may not seem like your doing much, but you are... (if you're training properly)

For cardio I suggest doing either HIIT (High Intensity Interval training) or HOC (High Octane Cardio) or do both and alternate days or whatever you feel like doing...
