I did put a lot of strain on my abs last week, but I rested them up plenty, and when I'm not doing anything they feel fine. When I do cardio stuff, I feel fine, anything casual, I'm good for the most part. However, recently, if I lay down and I'm outstretched a bit, I feel pain. Or when I'm golfing, and my body twists, my abs cringe ever so slightly. This makes it difficult to get a decent lift off when doing things such as benchpressing.
Is this normal? Do I need to be taking different precautions besides just stretching? The only stretching I really do to work my abs is pretzels. Is there anything else you might suggest?
