abs for the youth

theres a lot of topic on abs about diet and etc , i just turned 16, diet is clean and i do cardio with weight training, i have a beach slim lean tone where you can see the muscle interior shown on my arms cause i have like no fat, i have a 6 pac and i been training hard for that last 2 but it's hard, for some reason it won't show, my parents say it's because i need to be older and my muscle will develope more as my age increases is that true?if it is damm
 
In a way it is true. My abs got more toned the older i got. It was frustrating because i was doing ab exercises like crazy in junior high but they didn't pop out till i was in high school. Just keep exercising, eating clean, and be patient. If your lucky you might see it in the next six months.
 
You can also change your ab routine. Im not sure what you're currently doing, but reverse crunches or abdominal hanging leg lifts really work my lower abs well.
 
Yeh, i have 8, but no matter how hard I try I can't develop the cut down the middle grrr.

You might need to change your diet a little or something, I know you said it was clean, but look more into it.
