Hard to believe, but true! My starting weight at 5'5" was 211 lbs (holy!) and my current weight is 147 lbs. I am aiming to get down to 135 lbs. I am finding it much harder to budge the dang #s on the scale at this point, though I continue my extremely vigorous exercising and keep my portions small. *sigh* the end is in sight, anyways.

This first pic was taken in July of 2007, near the start of my journey. Sorry it is fuzzy! The others are from this weekend.

Enjoy! And remember: if I can do it, so can you!!:biggrinjester:

WOW..CONGRATS!!! You look so good and dont even look like the same person:) I know you feel so proud and good!

:Angel_anim:Thanks muchly for the kind words! Last night I went to (yet another) 20 yr reunion and felt FANTASTIC in my new dress (the one of me in this last pic). Some of the folks had not seen me since Jr. high, and they commented on how I am even smaller now than I was then! :sifone:

This journey has been so significant to me, and it continues. My weight loss has TOTALLY empowered me, and it is cascading into many other areas of my life. HERE'S TO ME! And to the future. It looks bright ... :coolgleamA:

Cheers

Wow... I saw your name everywhere in threads, but never look at YOUR weight loss until now.
I must say: You look very nice now.. Your look in the last gym pictures is just like you are a fitness trainer (which may have nice body) Keep up that good work!

:waving: Thanks, everyone! I love all of the encouragement I receive from friendly folks on this wonderful site!

As you can see by my ticker, 147 was my lowest. Christmas saw me creep up a few, but it is under control and going back in the right direction. I am eating more now in an effort to jump start the WL again, as I realized I was not getting enough calories. I am still working out 5-6 x per week, still the same workout. I do wonder if changing it would also bump up my loss, but it is so handy just to use the treadmill in my basement! I'm so thankful for it. I also use handweights and my wonderful, couldn't-do-without-it stability ball. :hurray:

So here's to all of us working so hard to make better health a reality in this fresh, new year!

Cheers:cheers2:
