Getting a solid abdomen is all about eating a clean diet. That means no white flour, sugar, processed foods, etc. No cereal, bread (unless it's 100% whole wheat), pizza, tacos.

Eat 5-7 smaller meals evenly spaced throughout the day, with a source of protein with every meal. This makes your metabolism work harder and faster so you burn more calories during the day.

Protein to eat: plain grilled chicken, super-lean beef (like flank steak, or 98% lean ground beef), egg whites, protein powder, cottage cheese, canned tuna in water, salmon or most any other kind of fish (poached or grilled).

Fat to eat: natural PB, flax seed (ground or oil), olive oil, canola oil, fish oil.

Carbs to eat: oatmeal (NOT the instant kind in the packets - it's full of sugar), 100% stone-ground whole wheat bread, sweet potatoes (baked or steamed), fruit (apples, berries, peaches, bananas, apricots, etc.).

That's a basic idea of what to eat for eating clean. Search the forum for some meal ideas and whatnot - there are a lot of threads about this subject in these forums.
