Hello all!
So Im 21 and have been having weight problems since I was about 16. I just packed on the pounds, I was about 125 and I went up to 160 and stayed there for a while but eventually worked my way up to 195 at my heaviest at the beginning of 2006. At that time I really wanted to avoid gaining another pound and dropped down to 160ish again by april. Sadly, I fell off the wagon and I've gained back 15 pounds putting me squarely at 175lb. I am going to try what I did last year, which was essentially diet, excercise and lots of water. Last year I hit a plateau after 160 and couldnt move from there no matter how much I changed my excercise routines. Ive got a million reasons to lose the weight as Im sure all of us do. Ive decided that I refuse to let school be an excuse anymore and Im really going to do it.

-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight? january 2008

-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? excercising at the school gym daily, portion control, balancing my meals

-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal? this group! my family

-- How realistic is your goal?
i think its pretty realistic 4 months around 10-15 lbs a month

-- When will you start? immediately!
 
great job on deciding to get back into the swing of things and back to business on losing the unwanted pounds!! I'll be checking back in and seeing how you are doing!! :)

Keep up the great outlook and you will surely reach your goal by Jan '08!!!
