A workout routine for THIN people?

Hey guys..I've got a question that NO ONE has been able to answer, and I have never seen an article in ANY fitness magazine directed towards this. I am a 5'5" female who weighs 112 pounds. This is the highest weight I've ever been (this is my natural weight..I dont have an eating disorder ;} ). I'd love to get a workout routine that will strictly help me tone, because I'm NOT interested in losing weight, but instead toning my abs, butt, legs, etc. Most routines are dedicated not only to toning, but to dropping some serious weight in the process. Any suggestions on a cardio routine that I can do that will avoid weight loss as a goal? Thanks

only do cardio 3 times per week. Weight lift the other 4 days. Try and do between 8-12 reps for 3 or 4 sets of each large muscle group exercises.

Eat better! Drink LOTS of water.

Working out is working out. Most exercise plans are not especially geared towards shedding a ton of fat (though some can be performed to help with that). A general weight training routine and cardio program can be the same for overweight and thin people. What sets the programs apart is the diet. The caloric deficit created will create the loss of fat. Here's something that will blow your mind. The same essential workout can be used to gain muscle mass, lose fat, or get solid. How may you ask? Varying the weight and altering your diet!

Yes, but getting rid of fat is what people really mean when they talk about "toning." Generally when muscle is gained and fat is lost there is a gain in weight due to muscle weighing more.

HIIT for your cardio will rip some fat off you. 30 sec run, 1 min jog, 30 sec run, 1 min jog-15 minutes, 2-3 times a week.

In the gym, use mainly dbs and free weights rather than machines. The exception being the lat pulldown, seated cable machine, glute-ham raises/back extensions, and lying hamstring curl machine.

how old are you? i struggled with weight my whole life. i weighed 92 lbs through high school, 102 through college. i am 5 feet three inches. i'm 40 now.

even with pregnancies, i only weighed in the 120's. but i always did whatever i wanted exercise wise and ate whatever i wanted.

i don't see any reason why you are different from me. i'm now about 116. the important thing is to feel good - be healthy and happy.
