Hi everyone
When I had my kids (which is a long time ago now!) I tried to drop the weight I had piled on over Christmas stuffing my face with mincepies! (I cannot look at the damn things now and that's bleep bleep years later : ) I was so miserable, not only was I trying to deal with PND, a new baby and a seriously unsympathetic ex-husband (any guesses why he is ex? LOL) The more I tried to lose weight, the more stressed I got, the more I reached for comfort foods and yes, the more weight I put on and I really felt guilty and angry with myself. Looking back over that time, I can see that I could have dropped the weight in a normal and sensible way but I was doing something called emotional trigger eating....We aren’t normally aware what the trigger is but something makes us feel tense and we want to eat. In fact we can often eat and not realise until afterwards what has happened. This kind of ‘mindless’ eating keeps us overweight and on the diet treadmill. I do the Claraxa Technique which is a mix of ancient and modern healing methods that successfullyget to the heart of the emotions of the trigger eating. It really does help with the bingeing etc and the horrible 'bad' feelings afterwards and the weight does drop off (obviously as long as you eat healthily too). If you want to know some more about it, just message me, I'd be happy to help.
