A routine

I need some help to make the best of my time in the gym.

As of now, all I'm doing is 30 minutes on the elliptical (I go about 2.5 miles), then I do 5 miles on the bike (about 20 minutes). Then I walk the track for 5 minutes to cool down.

Nothing special here.. and I'm feeling like I will need to change it up and incorporate some weights in here to make the best of my weight loss experience.

I'm working on losing the fat in my abdomen and chest (by far the worst part). I currently way 205 and would like to drop to 160ish, but if I'm building muscle mass, I'd be fine with 170 or so as long as the fat is gone.

So this is where I come to you intelligent folks! :)

Can you recommend me some different routines that I can start to focus on? I've read all of the stickies, and I'm starting to compile a list for myself, but just want to hear some input from you folks!

Thanks a million!

This sticky will probably help you out a lot:

Actually, all of the sticky posts at the top of this forum would be a good read through for you. They'll help you figure out a routine that would work well. :)

In case you aren't watching your diet already. Just keep in mind that even the best exercise program is nothing without a good, healthy, lower calorie eating program to go with it.

Thanks Kara, I read it before, but forgot about it by the time I read the rest of the stickies. Soooo much info around here =)

Yup, I'm watching my food intake.
