So I've joined the millions in the whole new year's resolution world. I normally hate making resolutions on January 1- as I am a strong believer in the statement that everyday is a new day and a fresh start. So I am constantly making resolutions and changes in my life.
That being said- after losing 20 lbs last year (going from 190 to 170) and then stopping there (bad girl!), I grew complacent. During holiday baking and all that jazz, I gained 10 lbs. So here I was, 180 and thinking "geez, what the heck happened!?"
I didn't overindulge this holiday season, but I did still take in a few treats. The last notable one was some ice cream from Cold Stone Mountain... oh my, it was great. But now, the whip is at my back and I am not going to make the same mistakes as last year.
My goals are simple- fitness, health and loving myself for who I am. Yes, I have specifically worded those, but to keep things brief, right now my goal is to lose 15 lbs.
This week has been great- I tracked everything (food and exercise). I started off with sparkpeople, but when I got frusterated at a techinical error, I went over to mydailyplate. Loving that and doing really well- 5 days straight now.
Weigh-in day is next Tuesday. I'm hoping to be in my 170s.
