A new member from Belfast

Hi everyone.
I'm new to the forum.
I'm 23 years of age, I'm from Belfast in Northern Ireland and I've been attempting to lose weight now for almost three months. So far, I've managed to lose 15 pounds. I currently weigh 194 pounds and I hope to lose in the region of 70 pounds to have a healthier and happier lifestyle. Before my weight loss I was eating a huge amount of junk food which was adding around an extra 1,600 calories to my diet every single day! In order to lose weight, I have cut out all 1,600 calories by not eating junk food such as crisps and chocolate. I have stopped drinking lemonade which I have substituted with water and occasionally drinks of juice. I now eat healthy meals which are light on calories such as steamed chicken and vegetables or fish etc on a regular basis and I now exercise a great deal more and although I know that I have a huge distance to travel I am absolutely determined to make the journey and hopefully by joining this forum I can find the encouragement when I need it to make it there.
