A New Diary for a new Start

Okay... so i came home a little tipsy from after work drinks last night and suddenly had a very low moment. Had looked in the mirror and thought... i hate myself.. i got to get a grip! (However, a guy i had been talking to texted me and asked me out... i was thinking.. why??!) It lifted my mood but i still know full well that i need to sort it out.

So... my sister and I are having a compertition.. Seeing who can eat the healthiest, drink the most water in a day and most exercise daily. We are then seeing who can loose the most weight overal the quickest. (I have to loose more weight then her... but it's about doing it the quickest and healthiest.)

Hopefully this will help... it will kick my competitive streak into gear and ill actually loose the weight! So im writting it all down now.

Starting Weight: 13stone 1lb

Breakfast:
largish bowl of nutty crunch with semi skimmed milk
(its a ceral we treated ourselves to before we deicided to do this. Might as well get it out of the house and finished with. lol)

Lunch:
palenta with salad and a light drissle of home made dressing.

Supper:
burger and chips (we went out... i got drunk so ate bad food. :()

Snacks:
none

Drinks:
mug of green tea
far too much alcohol. (ahh rubbish)

Exercise:
lots of dancing.

It was the first night i had out for ages and i went a bit overboard. Completely went off the wagon here but will be picking it up again today... Currently writting with a very bad hangover. haha

Just wanted to say hello and to hear about your day(?) I hope you are doing great, well I'll see when you post again. Anyway good luck beating your sister, but hopefully you'll beat the overweight more:)
 
okay... today i haven't been that great already.. i had to grab something to eat while i was driving from my friends house to work at around half seven in the morning. Was running late and there wasn't any time to stop so literally popped into a garage on the way... hence why its sooo unhealthy! Needed something that was easy to eat while i went. *Shrug* and then i got hungry at work. gah!

Breakfast:
Cheese Sandwich (i didn't stop to look at how many calories were in them. :eek: )

Lunch:

Supper:

Snacks:
mars bar ice cream
'french frie' crisps. (94cal a pack)

Drinks:
half a pint of water
1 coffee

Ok, so morning wasn't the best, you still have the rest of your day to really shine!

Good luck! Maybe if you could pre-make a breakfast and have it ready to go, your morning could be a little less hectic. Also, you could take healthy snacks in a baggie to work with you.:)
 
argh! This is so much harder then i thought it would be... I'd forgotten what dieting was like! haha

Ive eaten rubbish again today... but i did manage to get at least 20 mins bike ride in.. so hopefully that will be better.

I got to try harder... i got to!

my sister is winning at the moment. haha
 
woops... kinda forgot about this. So not good. My sister and i have had a busy few days and the diet thing kinda went out the window. :eek:

But! I'm starting again... because i want to go and visit a friend of mine who's at uni. Anyways her housemate is... well really really good looking! hehe I want to make an impression... so that when i walk through the door its like.. 'Wow! Emily look at you!'

*sigh* was going to come back to fill in the rest of what i ate that day but got held up with busy time at work... now of course ive forgotten it all coz silly me didn't write it down. :(

I keep wanting to try really hard and then something goes wrong and i think... ah! why am i even bothering? then the next day im like... no i got to keep going. I wonder if skinny people ever have these problems.

Hey please don't give up!

Remember, it is up to you to decide, if you make the decision that you ARE GOING TO be healthier, that's it! I know it's not that simple (going through it myself!), but I guess what I'm saying is, it's up to you to choose what you eat and when etc.

Bit of sibling rivalry never did any harm- go on you can beat that sis of yours!!!

we have kinda forgotten about the competition that we were/are doing.. both of us have been pretty busy with work and such that it's just kinda flown out the window. But i really want to loose this weight... i got to!
