Hi there,

I'm dutch so english isnt my first language, so please excuse any spelling/grammar mistakes.
I'm a 20 year old male weighing about 220 lbs and about 6.5 feet. Back in the old days I was actually skinny, but once I became a student (I dont know the term for it, but someone who studies at a university) I started gaining weight, and my condition and strength started declining. I drank a lot and hardly had any excersize.

I finally decided to start getting in better shape. I joined this forum as a little motivator and seeing how others do in their struggle with weight.

My personal plan is to do excersises at home for at leats 30 minutes about 6 times a week, this does not include excersise I would get anyway (biking to things etc.)
My diet plans are to just eat healthier more fruit, less junkfood, stuff like that. I dont have any hard rules set as I trust that I can judge wat is healthy to do what isnt. Also I do not intend to stop drinking, I know that it not that healthy, but I really like drinking, however I will drink less.

I am not going to weight or measure myself, I want to look good in the mirror, not have a fancy number. Therefore, this will be something I want to keep up for a long period of time (think years). One goal I have set myself is to be able to do 20 push ups some day. So far I am at my 16th day and I am already noticing difference. I've gained some strength and find some physical activities to be easier.
