Well I am new to this. But Ive been reading around, and this seems like a very nice, laidback, helpful forum.
Anyways, My name is Matt. I am 23 years old ( Father of 1 ( 2yr old boy)).
Where I went wrong, who knows. I was always fit, and in shape through highschool. And I became a tattoo artist in 2005, and started getting lazy.
As of Dec, 25th 2008 I was 6 ft 3, and 350LBS! I made the decision that The start of 2009 would not only be the start of a new year. But a new life! I went ( am ) on a very strict diet. I drink no fluids except water. I eat no red meats, no junk, no bread or pasta.. Anything like that. An example of my diet in a day would be.. ( Breakfast: Fresh fruits, cut up and mixed into a salad ) ( Lunch: Albacore White tuna, with onions and small salad ) ( Dinner: Grilled Turkey breast, with with Lettuce and carrots )
Since its FREEZING outside I walk 1/2 mile in the morning after breakfast, and 1 mile in the evening on the treadmill. I also do 25-30 minute workouts on my home gym each day.
Well, it's Jan 25th ( Been 25 days since I started my Journey ) And I've lost 21 LBS! I can seriously feel a difference already and I am so excited about getting down to my goal weight of 215!
