Weight-Loss

Hello,

Well my plan is to lose 2 pounds a week, I know it will take a lot of effort...but I know I can do it!

The only part I am a bit confused about is the diet plan.
I have read both books and they both sound pretty good.
One was the 3 Hour Diet...it sounds resonable, and the secoond book was called The Formula: A personalized 40-30-30 Weight loss Program, both books have a pretty balanced diet... regardless of which diet I choose...I will be doing cardio and adding weight training 3 times a week.
I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on which plan I should use.

same thing I said in your intro post I'll say here:

Pick a plan that you can stick with for the rest of your life - one that doesn't deprive you but allows you to enjoy your favorite foods in moderation = and doesn't cut out any major food groups.

Read the stickied thread in this forum - you do not need a special "program" to lose weight

Right, what Mal says.

There's no magic in any individual plan or program. Certainly some programs are better than others. The ones that are better than others contain all the core factors that comprise a successful weight loss program. The ones that aren't as good don't.

On top of this, even of the good programs, not all are right for You. It can be a very individualistic thing based on many factors such as lifestyle, likes/dislikes, metabolic individualities, etc, etc.

My point is, don't limit yourself into thinking you need a program.

You're better off understanding the core components that permanent weight loss is attributed to.

Things like caloric control, balance, ease, etc.
