?? A Good Meal Replacement ??

Hey I’m new here and I see that everyone give good advice, so here is my story. I recently started working out with a trainer so I can lose weight I’m 5’8’ 180 lbs. I want to loss at least 20lbs. My trainer says that I need to get 5-6 meals a day. That’s eating every 3 hours. My metabolism is very slow. I only use to eat 2 and the rest junk food. I’m trying to eat 5 meals a day. But I’m finding that I’m not eating enough calories in the day. I went to fitday.com and enter what I eat and I only come up to about 1700-1800 a day. I know I need to eat a least 2,000 calories I think in order to loss weight. I’m finding it hard to eat a meal during the day because of work and stuff. Sure I grab a banana or fat-free yogurt during the day but that is not enough. I looking to buy some meal replacement drinks but I having trouble choosing the right one. Does anybody know a good one that I can buy? Is this even the right way for me to go? Thank you

i wouldn't go with meal replacements myself. I would by some decent quality protein (don't throw too much $$ away ... the high quality stuff is more for heavy training) and have a protein shake or add to stuff like yogurt.
Having 5-6 meals a day is especially good for someone with a slow metabolism as it'll help to speed it up.
Why don't you give us a brief lowdown as to what you eat during the day at each meal and we can maybe make some suggestions.

grind up some oats, add protein powder and a good source of fat

put in a shaker cup, add water and shake

What I during the day is the following.

10:00 wake up

11:00am - A piece of friut or a roll with juice for breakfast. I feel sick if I eat in the mouring.

3:30 - rice and beans and chicken or beef

6:00 - yogurt and a piece of fruit

8:30 - soup the type you mircowave that chunky soup

11:00 - yogurt and a piece of fruit

2:00 - bed
