A friend, anyone?

Hello all!
Let's see...where to begin. I'm 28, will be 29 in June. I am the mother to a wonderful 8 year old boy, and a beautiful 2 year old girl. I am a musician, and aspiring teacher.
I have been chunky all of my life. In high school, I thought I was huge. I was 5'4", 135lbs. I wish I could go back in time and smack myself. When I had my son, I had rocketed up to 220. I fluctuated for a few years, but after a couple of bad relationships and the birth of my wonderful little girl, I am now sitting at 270. I canNOT go over 300lbs. I just can't.
I need motivation. I don't want to die young, but that never seems to cross my mind when I'm eating poorly. I would like to find a friend to share weight loss issues and triumphs. Any takers?

I can relate to you on SO many levels... Except I did go over 300 pounds, and then kept going! :banghead:

I posted my little introduction on this Newcomers thread yesterday, and it's scary how much of it resembles yours!

I'd love a new friend in this battle! :biggrinjester:
