Hello to whom ever is reading this.
I was just searching around surfing the net for some kind of inspiration/motivation to start dieting and found this.
so i thought to give it a go.
let's begin.
Age 17
Weight 150 lbs.
Goal 120
Time 2-3 months*i just want to lose it and keep it off so time is not of the essence
Background info.
graduated high school. woot.
summer vacation.
quit yogurt job. couldnt stand lazy manager. schedule has totally cleared up.
recently stopped competitive gymnastics. level 9(two levels below elite)
---gymnastics is expensive. parents being the way they are want me to learn the value of money, so since i graduated high school i need to pay for everything from here on out. i dont think that is unreasonable. i have grown up to be independent so i would like to whole-heartedly try to become financially independent...lets see how long it will last :] so anyway i have to pay for gymnastics and since i quit my job i need a new one (tomorrow i have a 2 job interviews! wish me luck)
even doing gymnastics for 10 years, i was always the overweight one. gymnasts are supposed to be thin but fit, no?
yes, i know muscle weights more than fat but even so i dont think i should weight 150lbs when im 5'4
my coaches being so laid back and coaches for the fun of gymnastics not the competitiveness, never told me to lose weight. it wasn't until this past season he told me to lose 5 pounds. it didnt shock me because i knew myself i was overwieght, so i lost 10 pounds but after season was over the weight came right back.
this is very frustrating because i go on diets on but never reach my goal weight. also because of gymnastics i worked out around 16hours+ BUTTT i am still overweight. it must be my eating, no?
all i eat is healthy food. i realize now its the amount i eat. even if i am full i eat. i just always need something in my mouth.
RECOMMENDATION: chew gum (lost 5 pounds in two weeks)
enough background? eh.
so RECAP.
1. get job
2. eat smaller portions (i dont believe in eating manny meals. why keep your stomach full all the time? isn't it a regular body function for your stomach to growl?)
3. chew gum. ( drink more water)
4. lose wieght/ stay fit (GOALLLL: to get back in the game of gymnastics....join Cal Gymnastics at UCB in two year??!!)
wish me luck in my weight-loss journey. && after high school journey.
thanks for reading.
