a bad week... just venting

So not such a great week. I hope I hit my 3 pound mark for today. I probably have... being on a liquid diet makes it kind of easy to lose the pounds. My problem this week, is that I'm just kind of, well... blah.

My new dream job creates a bit of anxiety I realize. Drinking and smoking have been on the rise this week. In the past few months I've been really good about not smoking, and then BAM smoked twice in the last two weeks. Then I always wake up the next day feeling low and guilty, or with a hangover. I realize that since I can't eat, I'm coping with anxiety in other ways. Well, at least i can see it for what it is now.

I need a life, and friends. My plan for the week is to contact friends and just hang out. I'll contact the clean ones, so drink or smoke isn't the activity of the night. And I think I'll do kickboxing this week. It will be engaging, and it will probly hurt the next day... all good things. I seriously need some fun in my life! The search for entertainment that doesn't involve food or self destructive activities will be a long and strange one, but it will be done.
 
sounds like you're on the right path and doing what's right for you.. :D attagirl...

if you're looking for stuff to do to get yourself out of the house - might i suggest VolunteerMatch: Where Volunteering Begins - depending on your area - they usually have a bunch of volunteering assignments that can last one day or longer - you get out of the house - do good and can feel good abouot yourself in the process.

you're doing fine.. keep it up
 
well i just want to say don't ever give up! watching movies is a form of entertainment.. and it's not self-destructive.. lol.. take care.. all the best to u =)

and i also think reconnecting with friends will help you get out of the funk you are in. it happens to everyone! don't stress too much about it... this will pass! :)
