The human body is an amazing creation. Composed 75% of water; it has a very sensitive internal balance between Acid and Alkaline. When the balance is more Alkaline, you feel energetic and your immune system improves. Alkaline water rapidly disposes of fat, regenerate skin, bones and cells so you stay younger.

But there is a problem! Most of us in the Western World are too Acidic. Which means most of us: gain and hold on to fat, attract disease and virus, age quicker than we should and have lack of energy.
Why are we too Acidic? Because our lifestyle consist of:


• Stress
• Drugs
• Alcohol
• Energy drinks
• Burgers
• Chemicals
• Tobacco
• Radiation
• Sugar/ salt
• Air pollution
• Meats
• Unnatural fruit juices
• Coffee
• Artificial sweeteners
• Soft drinks
• Fast food


All the above cause acid in your body.
Your body fights to keep you balanced.
What’s balance?
Balance is when your blood ph is at 7.365.
So when acidic products are processed in your body, your body tries to get more Alkaline. Sounds good, but this is where the trouble starts.

It stores some acid in your fat to keep it from harms way. Your body then holds onto the fat for protection. Then start the weight loss struggle.

It finds alkaline elsewhere. From your bones and teeth. Your bones and teeth get the life sucked out of them. They become rail and decay (Arthritis). This is why people shrink as they age.

The acid settles away from healthier organs. Instead it hits your weakest organs that are already prone to disease or cancer.

On top of that it contaminates your blood. Your body is like a car. Running a car on dirty oil would cause the engine parts to wear quickly. Not operate like it was designed to, become unreliable and lose its power. Engine oil is too car what blood is to humans. But your blood is even more vital. It delivers oxygen to your cells, collect carbon dioxide and convey nutriment (vitamins, sugars).

When you are too acid, blood cells lose their negative charge, which helps them to circulate faster through the body. So they stick together, poisoning starts and you feel lose of energy. Disease, viruses and cancer can only survive in acid environment.
 
This is misinformation.

For example, the medical consensus is that the cause of osteoporosis is lack of calcium absorption. This can result from inadquate intake of calcium during your younger years when bones are still building density and inadequate calcium intake in your later years when they can only maintain density.

Calcium absorption is affected by vitamin D (usually from the sun) and phosphorous ( i thinks phosphoruos or otherwise its potassium but i forget which one is it) in your diet. Some people have particular problem with keeping vitamin D and should take supplements. This is only being realised fairly recently.

Another thing that can affect calcium absorption is a diet too high in protein. I read recently that a diet higher than 2grams per kilogram of body weight is too high. So tha'ts a very high protein diet and probably doesn't affect too many people but some sports people would be more vulnerable and perhaps also labouring people, men obviously.

During pregnancy and breast feeding women need more calcium. If they don't have enough that's when the baby and the breast milk can leech it out of teeth and bones.

Exercise is also important for strong healthy bones. If people live a totally sedentary lifestyle for years on end, their bones will not be as strong as people who are more active. It should be weight bearing exercise so that rules out swimming and cycling but almost everything else will help.

That's everything i know about calcium and strong bones. I think all this stuff about acid and alkaline is total mumbo jumbo.

Thank you for reading my post. You did a good job in describing what causes osteoporosis. But all this stuff about acid and alkaline is far from being mumbo jumbo. When your blood ph is below 7.365 it means it's acidic. So, your body will do everything to bring this balance back because if it drops by 2 points you are going to die. When we drink soft drinks with high phosphate content then calcium is drawn from the bones to act as a buffer from your bones and neutralize acidity with calcium. My mother, 47, she suffered many years from osteoporosis. She was taking calcium supplements but it never helped. Around 3 months ago, she started to drink alkaline water and now the problem is almost gone. She also lost weight, she has more energy and no more digestion problems.

There is only one decease and it's dehydration. We need to drink enough water (the experts say about 6 to 8 glasses daily) for our body to rid itself of toxins and to work properly.

For you personal information if you don't believe me, because I don't have a Phd and I am not a nutritionist, you can google "benefits of Alkaline water'' or go on youtube. There you can find people with Phd's and professional nutritionist talking about the importance of drinking more alkaline water.

I removed your links due to forum violations..I will say this. The links you directed to was not independent information. Most of the youtube links was interviews of a doctor pushing his book pushing this diet. In fact, except for the wiki article which has nothing to do with acid connecting to weight loss, everything was pushed by someone making a buck off it.
 
I am not making a buck of it... lol I am drinking alkaline water every day an I feel better...you can say what ever you want you can remove all the videos you want...you can even go to Japan an tell the doctors to stop treating diabetes with alkaline water, I am still going to feel great... Anyway I only wanted to share the benefits of alkaline water. But I see that you are all against it. You can still drink the polluted tap water and the bottled water which makes billions of dollars selling you tap water in a bottle, with the same pollutants which are carcinogens it's your choice. I am predicting that in near future you will all drink this water, so why no starting now and improve your health?
 
um ok...first I didn't say you was, I said those in the links you provided do. They were removed also due to forum violations.

The first thing you should always do when looking at 'studies' is the meaning behind them. I looked at the sites you posted and they all are part of something to sell this to you. funny thing is, there is nothing wrong with the water but it sure isn't directly connected to weight loss.
