8 min abs prob

well i been doing this workout off and on. There are reasons. After the workout, my neck hurts more than my abs. I tryed the techniques they told me. Look to the ceiling and all that crap, but i dont know what else to do :( its bugging me.

Any suggestions would be great.
 
Yeah, change your diet and cardio. You'd be better off working on core exercises, and if you must, putting some ab exercises at the end of a workout.

8 minute abs is almost ALL crunches, which is not the way to go anyway, you are probably pulling your neck without even knowing it because of all of the crunches.
 
well i got strengh training, lots of cardio, and well i need to keep my abs up ;) so this kinda helps. i just hate the strain it puts on the neck :( i once did the whole thing without any pain in the neck. :( but eh, happens
 
Your core is pelvis, hips, abdominal muscles, small muscles along the spinal column and trunk. So as you can see you need more than some crunches or sit-ups to strengthen and better stabilize that area. Keeping your core strong prevents injury and also increases performance.

A few exercises for your core are:
-Planks
-Bridges
-Reverse Crunches
-Back Extensions
-Straight Leg Raises

So yeah more than just some crunches though yes they do work your core.
