6'0 woman - From 278 lbs to 190 lbs and still going down...

Here is 3 pic of me at about 265-278 lbs and 3 pics of me at 210 lbs.....:piggy:

I eat about 1200 calories a day and burn about 2700 - 3200 calories a day (do about 20-25 miles per week on the treamill).
Loosing about 3-4 lbs a week!...of course, some weeks I don't feel like being on a diet so i just eat as many calories as I burn to make sure I don't gain any weight..

I moved to Florida from Sweden 3 years ago and in middle of April-08 I am going back on a vacation to Sweden for 1 month.....this gives me the push and motivation to work hard!.... My friends and family will be sooooo suprised:D

My weight loss plan:
02/25/08: 210 lbs
03/01/08: 206.6 lbs (-3.4 lbs)
03/08/08: 203.6 lbs (-3.0 lbs)
03/14/08: 200.6 lbs (-3.0 lbs)
04/16/08: 190.0 lbs (-9.4 lbs) LEAVING TOMORROW WITH 88 lbs WEIGHT LOSS!:D Wish me good luck!

FYI.
I am full aware that I might gain about 10-20 lbs while on my 1 month vacation... all that home-made food that my mom cooks, all the eating out with friends and social drinking on the weekends!...See you in the end of May!


January 2007 - 265-278lbs


February 2008 - 210lbs



March 2008 - 203.6 lbs

How did you lose the weight Madeline?

I am very new to this and really need some direction. I also look a lot like you used to. Almost a clone. Weird. How have you been losing the weight? You look great!

Hi Courtney! I have tried hundreds of diets the last 6 years. The only one that worked for me and that I would suggest is to count calories.

Here are 2 GREAT websites that I have used to help me count calories and loose weight:
(to count how many calories you burn every day)
(to count how many calories I eat every day)

For example:
If you burn 1000 calories more than you eat every day for a week you will loose 2 lbs!
I weight myself once every 2 weeks and it works on the dot.

This is just my suggestion.... trust me it works! Please let me know if you have any questions!
 
good effort. You may wish to adjust your goal weight though, 116lb is anorexic i think for 6' tall person.

Thanks! Oh no, 116 is not my goal weight that is just the amount of lbs I want to loose from my starting weight. My goal weight is 160lbs!
