500 calorie diet. Anyone else?

I'm currently following a 500 calorie diet plan with moderate exercise. I'm averaging 1 pound a day weight loss. I heard so many negative things about it, but honestly, I feel fine. I was wondering if anyone knows if it's because I only ate once a day prior to beginning and if that has something to do with the easy transition. I'm currently 200 lbs,5'3", and a 36 yr old female if that helps. I eat hard boiled egg white for breakfast as well as either a tablespoon of peanut butter or 4oz Apple sauce. For lunch, I do a berry meal replacement shake, and dinner is usually 5oz tilapia or boiled chicken breast with a green veggie. I also take a dietary supplement twice a day as well as iron and omega 3.
 
May ask what dietary supplement you take twice a day? Does your meal replacement shake have whey in it ? I am very interest in this. Thanks
