4pack????

Hey i was just wondering how long it would take to get a 4pac, and what types of exercises i could do to get it. I currently have a flat stomach,i just want a a 4 pack, im just not sure what i need to do to get them. I currently do 45 min of running in the evening and 3 sets of 40 crunches. i also play soccer on the side, and havnt seen any results frum any of this, except my legs. I havnt lost any weight......Any advice???Is there something im doing wrong...?

are you on a proper diet?
how long has it been since u began this goal?

are u weighing yourself or just looking at ur stomach and stomach only ... you could be losing weight in your face more at first ... then possibly your arms ... your stomach will eventually shed the fat.

just keep going ... if your not on a proper diet, then thats the problem ... no diet = very hard to lose weight.
be patient and good luck

um i have no idea.... i just run 45 min and do crunches every day..........im obvioulsy doing something wrong, or not doing enough i really dont know, so can someone please help me out. im 120 and 5'5. i want to be a lot smaller like 110 but i havnt lost any weight since i started the running or anything. I dont eat junk food, maybe pizza once a week other then that its usually fruits and veggies and pasta....which is not good for u i know, but it cant also be that bad...

What you're doing wrong is expecting your muscles to grow without working your whole body out. If you want your abs to get bigger you need to weight train all your major muscles

You have plenty of time, just cut back your running to 20 minutes of HIIT (high intensity interval training) and do a weight training circuit for the other 25 minutes or do wieight training 3 days a week for 45 minutes and running on the alternate 3 days of the week.

Something that wasn't mentioned is genetics. I have worked with people for years who have been fit their whole lives and couldn't produce a 4 or six pack. You can work the muscle all you want, but if your eating habits aren't helping and your genetics aren't there you running up a steap hill.

Genetics might affect it but everyone can get a six-pack if they work hard enough...it's just that some people have to work harder than others.
