48hrs?

i weight lift on the same body parts every other day. Today i feel like my muscles got smaller and want to heal.. or is that just normal? Isnt every other day 48hrs of rest?

Yeah, 48 is a rule of thumb, and estimation if you will. But of course, it varies from person to person. If you are feeling your workout from two days before still it may be a good idea to rest up for another day. How set are you on your full body every other day? Would you be opposed to trying a different routine split up throughout the week?

well.... i want fast results on my whole upper body and stomach so i do the same exercise on that part of the body so i can get the fastest results. I wanna bench 250lbs in one month thats a 35lb increase. I also wanna have nice arms and sholders. But right now my arms and chest especially my back feel stressed so i thought id wait another day and continue what im doing. When i work i dont stop untill i cant lift no more. Any comments?

resting

Okay Toly, this is just my opinion. You can't really get "fast results" The impronvements you make will be gradual, it takes some time. It is good you want to bench a certain amount and to set goals, but you have to be realistic in achieving them. Also, if you are still sore from a previous workout, why would you want to pound that bodypart with another workout ? You break down your muscles during workouts, it is during your resting times when your muscles heal and grow, with proper diet of course. So be a bit patient, eat properly, drink plenty of water, workout consistently (not the sore bodyparts though) and you see results. Good luck to you. Remember this is my opinion, others on this board may have better info for you.
