Look awesome man! How tall are you?

Hey thanks for the compliments. I am 6'2.

Also, to everyone else, thank you very much - i love this forum and its positive energy emitted from everyone. This is a great support group, and as many who have commented mentioned - quite inspirational to all those experiencing the battle of the bulge.

I would be happy to answer any questions that anyone had as well - as they pertain to lifestyle, working out, diet, supplements etc...

OMG... Are those abs... on your BACK? Awesome job!!

What was your training program, and how long did it it take to achieve your results?

Awesome job, dude! Congrats on the great transformation!

You should really watermark those images, though, otherwise scammer sites may use them (a few people's before&afters have already been used for that purpose).

Looking awesome

You look really good, totally a different person. I can see small stretch marks on your stomach before you lost the weight? Did they fade away?

okay...i have a question! did you change your eating habits 'cold turkey' aka all at once, OR did you make small changes one day at a time? thanks:hurray:

unfortunately - not totally. They reduced in size since they werent being stretched anymore, however, they are still there :(

I gained the weight so fast that i got the stretch marks on the belly, inner groin area, and biceps. It really is a consistent reminder to never let myself go like that again.

TO respond to people's inquiries:

The before picture was in 2005, around april-may.
I lost pretty much 80 lbs within the first four months of dedication. However, i lost muscle and fat, and only this past year have i regained a lot of my muscle tone. So, for the past year my schedle has been something like this:

***Cardio at least 20 mins/day at very high intensity (like 2.5 miles and 6:30 minute miles with no stopping) or eliptical of varying hardness for 20 mins (like 30 secs on level 8 then 30 secs on level 10 then 30 secs on level 12 then back to 10, then 8 etc...)

***Weight training!!!! This was crucial to the definition and fat loss procedure. Men, unless you want to look too thin and flubbery (which is ok if you are just trying to get a lot of weight off), I HIGHLY suggest hitting the weghts hard. Follw a good routine and lift 4 times per week.

***DIET OF COURSE.
-Protein protein protein (but you must be lifting!!)
-egg whites
-fat free cottage cheese
-boneless skinless chicken breasts
-low fat lunch meat
-natural peanut butter for a treat

-WATER!!!! you HAVE to drink TONS OF WATER! At first i thought i would gain water weight, however i was proven DEAD WRONG. upon drinking water like a fish, the exact opposite became true - i dropped 2-3 lbs instantly!!!

-VEGGIES
-salad!
-carrots, green beans, peppers, etc.

-CARBS
-not so many, but if i got them it was ALWAYS from very heavy
complex wheat bread, and an occasional banana. Use this for energy.

-SUPPLEMENTS
-ok, i did use supplements to help me. here is what i used:
-Optimum pro complex whey protein. 60 rams per serving. Post work
out shake.
-Hydroxycut Hardcore (now discontinued) now using Lipo6-x. A good
thermogenic helps boost your heart rate and metabolism. make sure
to follow all directions!
-NO xplode / whit flood nitric oxide pre work supplement. This is a
vaso dialator and will facilitate blood flow to your muscles when
lifting hard, enabling you to acheive higher repitions and higher
weights.
-Omega 3 fish oil capsules!
-Centrum silver multi vitamins!

The most important thing above all is to get motivated!!! Find something that drives you. My gf of 5 years dumped me, and this was enough to jump start my drive.

Find down deep inside yourself what you want to work for, and go for it. Get motivated and lose the weight!

to be honest, i changed all at once. My gf of 5 years dumped me and that was it. I had to get my life back and this is where i got it.

I kind of yo-yo'd in my weight. at first in april 2005 i was 302 lbs. then in 4 months it went down to 220 or so and i kept it there through last summer where i gained it back to 250. then i was like screw this, and got serious. I have been working out hard since last summer and these are the results. im back down to 223-224 and am stronger than i ever have been.

the trick is to get motivated by somethign that drives you. Get angry almost and prove to yourself and the rest of the world that you control you and nothing else does.

THAT is great advice! i mean i know that i want to do this, but hearing it and seeing it in writing coming from another person is very motivating!!:driving:
