30 min. weight routine??

I'm trying to time manage, and set reachable goals! As much as I read everyone suggesting full body workouts 3 times a week, I find that its not working for me. I wanted your opinions on a four day,30min a day weight routine, I guess maybe even a split. I need to loose fat and tone, cardio is my worse nightmare so going to Spin classes at my gym 4 days a week is my goal. But before the classes I have a half hour. So I was hoping to get a good weight routine 4 days a week before spin. the days will be mon, wed, thurs, fri. Any thoughts?? I'm 5'5" 147 25years old. Goal is to see what happens at 130, also my diet has been is good and clean!:D

Dont meen to sound unfair, but Its not the set up thats not working for you, its you. Maybe your diet, or your technique, the weight, or even your effort.

It will work but you need to re-assess your lifestyle/program.

What way is it not working? You not loosing weight or not building muscle?

I'm not saying the routine I have isn't working, I'm saying I'm trying to get a schedule going that I know I'm gonna be able to make and not be over whelmed and rushing around.

Shellsy21,

Get into a split. From the info you provided above, here is a quick piece of advice. Use it or trash it :)

Mon- Upper Body Routine (3 sets of 8-10 reps) and then spinning
Wed- Lower Body/Ab Routine (3 X 8-10) and then Spinning
Thurs- Upper Body Routine (3 sets of 8-10 reps) and then spinning
Fri- Lower Body/Ab Routine (3 X 8-10) and then Spinning

Now on Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday... try to go for a long walk and take one day for rest.

I'm with Lynn on this. 4 weight workouts a week just begs for an upper/lower split, or a push/pull split with quads incorporated on push day (as well as calves) and then hamstrings on pull day.
Fit abs in 3times a week too, doable at home really.

Thanks so much you guys!! I'm gonna post later my plan and if you want (please) give your opinions!! The push pull is the way Im gonna go, and abs is inluded in 2 of the spin classes! Love the light fun cardio the other 2 day Trainer Lynn!!! Good idea!
