30 Day Shred question

Hi all,

SO i just started the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels and yup, she kicked my butt. What I need to know is, since she incorporates strength training and cardio, should I only perform this 3 days a week? I was thinking of just adding this in as another "tool in my box", but a girlfriend of mine said that the strength training is so minimal that you can do this everyday. I'm not too sure about that since the point is to exhaust yourself, therefore, needing the following day for recovery. I don't know...

My level 1 wouldn't play, so I had to start the whole series on level 2 (I thought since I'd been working out well enough, maybe I could handle that anyway- I didn't finish, but got close- wow it was hard for me). OMG gotta love that she's making me work muscles I'm not used to working. My legs didn't experience DOMS, but my arms and back sure did!

If it is everyday, then I may do that for 2 weeks or so, just to change up my routine (think my body has started to adapt to what I had been previously doing) and then switch around. Then, I may add it as just one of the things I'll decide to do on a FBW day.

Anyway, my question is, how is this program designed? Do it every single day or 3 times a week? I only downloaded the videos in iTunes, so if there is any accompanying material, I do not have it.
