25lbs down, but warning, naked top back shot!

I find this forum very inspirational so have decided to join in, they are not *rude* but you can see my skin, so be warned!
Heaviest is 222lbs, second is down to 197, i am 196 now, so about halfway to target.
 
heyy this is fantastic! you look alot more slender in the second pic!

Definatyl something good to keep hold of for insparation. Very well done!
 
WOW...thats a really good start!! What have you done to loose that much in so little time...Please.... Congrats!!!
 
thanks guys, well i have just really cut down, probably too far but i'm one of these people that has no patience and needs quick results. Most days i am below 1000 cals, and being 6ft tall i guess i burn more calories a day than most, so drop about half pound a day. I also use the *before* picture (at home you can see my fat butt in it as well, but i edited that out!) as inspiration, next to a thin womans, see below. Im in uk, and cadburys do a lovely hot chocolate drink thats only 40 cals and takes edge off. Plus i drink alot of flavoured fizzy water, peach, its really sweet but no cals, and fills me up.
 
Now, to me, her above doesn't look 'thin', she looks emaciated. Your 'after' pic in the first post is way more attractive.

btw i do eat aswell, maily low fat stuff like prawns, salad, fruit, soups, etc.

I have to say that i think the stories of low calorie diets where apparantly the body burns muscle tissue and keeps hold of the fat are rubbish. I think body burns the fat first, and keeps lean tissue for emergencies. otherwise nobody would ever lose any weight! i havent felt weak, if my muscle tissue were being burned first then i would do.

quick results aren't lasting results.. .what will last is a lifestyle change that you can stick with for the rest of your life...

Below 1000 calories day for your current size is not healthy... When your weight stalls out - and it willl -it's what it does... you have no room to wiggle... up your calories and have a sensible healthy approach to weight loss.

Spend some time reading the stickied threads around the forum.. change your ideaas about weight loss and you will change your weight.
 
i no i no, but hopefully it will stall just around the when i hit target! i no it is all about healthy eating, i really wanted to be under 14st, and tommorrow i definelty will be so i will slow down as i will be 13 something, which in my head isnt as hideous as 14 something! i am a teacher and the sight of all the gymslip girls in their short skirts and washboard stomachs is very depresssing, and they are back in school tommorrow! :)
 
That "inspiration" pic looks WAY too skinny, dude, so please don't use that as a model. If you can see the knobs of someone's spine through their skin, that's no good. For real. That pic looks like anorexia to me.

Other than that, great job on your success!

wow you look great! i prefer your back to the thin model's .. i think the thin model is very unattractive ... you should use maverick's photo for inspiration!
 
thanks guys, woke up this morning, and still flipping 14st! arghghghg :banghead: I soo want to be 13 something, I think my body is doing it on purpose to annoy me :)
 
Way to go! You're off to a great start. As for your inspiration picture, that's kinda gross. No matter what the media says, that's nothing to strive for. Nobody likes that look. Keep up the good work!
 
Yes, a very noticeable loss. You definitely look slimmer!

Now please find out how to continue your journey in a healthier way. You have proved that you can lose the weight; you just want to do it in a sustainable manner.
