on my way to 184 by February 24, 2012.
6'0 38 years old.
Ran 3 marathons in 2010 - but got lazy and gained 43 pounds since June 2010

I'm sure you'll find your motivation here, as well as some good reads. Check around, there are great articles on different exercise and dieting.

I suggest starting a journal, from my experience, it keeps you motivated and determined to reach your goal.

I'm back after not visiting the site for a while. Im currently at 216 hoping to be down to 190 for my marathon on Oct 28. (26 pounds in 5 months)

Also want to have Body fat percentage of 20% - currently at 29%.



Tomorrow is my "unofficial" first day of summer. My goal for the next 100 days (until Sept 2) is to do the following every day:

30 minutes of cardio (running, incline walking, biking, kettlebell swings)

100 pushups

100 situps


I hope to be doing more, but these are my goals for every day.

Ultimate Goal 184

Highest Adult Weight: 244 July 2011

Lowest Adult Weight: 165 July 1998
 
I definitely think you can achieve your goals! My advice to update your diary as much as possible. It helps to keep you motivated and dedicated to what you are doing. Writing in my diary has helped me through this journey even when I started maintaining my weight for a short time.
