Hi,
I'm really looking for someone to guide me in the right direction.
I'm 24, only 5'9 and i'm 210 with a 38 waist. It's unhealthy and I've been putting it off since i was in high school.
It's affecting my outlook on life and my personal relationships. I've recently quit smoking and already see a small change in health, but what i really need is advice on dieting and excercise.
I'm considering a gym membership so i will have to familiarize myself with the equipment and routines.
I am also starting to jog when i get home from work and in the mornings on my days off as the dogs and gf love it.
I work 5 days a week starting at 5am so I'm awake at 4:30am and done work at 1pm.
So far i'm lucky to get out the door with a coffee and maybe a nutritional grain cereal bar.
Then i dont eat anything until i get home around 2:00 and find myself eating dinner a little later than i should and snacking on the wrong foods.
I know its unhealthy but I'm ready to change for myself and my confidence.
I'm a little un-educated on what my body needs to function (as i was never big on fitness due to my own laziness and weak mindedness) and its caused me to be lazy and tired all the time. it's a horrible habit i'm breaking out of.
Where should i be with my weight? What kind of work out routines would help me lose stomach and thigh weight, and help me gain arm and shoulder strength? I really would like to broaden my shoulders and chest.
If someone could help maybe with a weekly meal plan for my height, weight and age, and a daily work-out routine that would make all the difference in the world.
Really appreciated.
Steve
