227 lb & 5'2" female looking for diet buddies w/similar stats

Does anyone want to follow others' progress as a diet buddy? I am 39 years old, a married mom, 227 lbs, diabetic, 5'2", anyone with similar stats?

hi and welcome. when i started i did have similar stats 42 year old female
5` 1 ", 222lbs, but with a tonne of motivation and loads of encouragement and support (especially from this forum) i have already lost a lot of weight with more to go. good luck, you can do it. slim

Welcome to the forum Tera. I am new here too. I am 24 years old, married mom also and 261 lbs 5'1". I would love to compare notes with you as a diet buddy if you would like? I know I have a little bit more weight to lose then you but if you don't mind i could really use a buddy too.
 
Well, I am younger and not a mom, but I AM 227.4 lbs and 5'1"!

Hey ^^ I am DEFINATLY younger, and not a mom but I do weight 170 pounds and am 5'0 xD So if you need a buddy I am deffinatly here =)

/gulp...... I'm 40 (i hate admitting that). 4'11 and around 210. I have a loving husband and 5 wonderful kids. When I look in the mirror, I'm not happy to see what looks back at me. I used to be a dancer. very tiny and looked great. I would love to see that girl stare back at me when I look in the mirror. I would love to compare notes and get some tips.
 
UGH! 40 Too!!

Hi! I am 40 as well... AND YES, I hate admitting that! I had gastric bypass 3 years ago. I went from 290 to 192... These past two years have been CRAZY, WILD, busy... I had gained about 35 pounds back. BUT I am now at 218... I am 5'4"... Married, one child, two dogs...:)

Since February, I have been "training" for a half marathon that I will participate in on October 21st in San Francisco. HOWEVER, the past two months, I have REALLY slacked off... I need motivation to get me into semi-shape to at least FINISH this half marathon... This is why I joined this webforum... I hope all of you, ANYONE can get me motivated... Do you or anyone else have any suggestions?
