217 to 138lbs Before & After Pictures

If you have been on this site awhile you have probably seen this infamous pink bikini that I use for my progress pictures. I have used it since day 1 and I will continue to use it until I reach goal and maybe keep it as a souvenir, not sure yet.

Anyways, I took down my pictures in those posts when this site had some people stealing peoples photos and using them for their advertising scams. Idiots. (reason for the yellow copyright stuff on my pics, there is also hidden watermarking)

I started my journey in March of 2007 and still continue my journey today as I have no reached goal weight yet. I started at 217lbs as far as I know. That was the last number I saw on a scale the last time I was weighed and I was weighed awhile before I started.

I am now teeter tottering around 135-142lbs every other week, which is quite stressful when you behave yourself and stay on track.

I didn't use one miracle diet pill or any special "diet". I changed my eating habits from crappy to healthy and watched my calorie content keeping it from a range of 1200-1550, depending on my workout of the day. Of course strength training being the higher count days. I also haven't had a sofa of any kind for over a year. I used to drink diet sodas but aspartame is the devil. (If you want info on that, PM me, way too much for here)

My workouts are 6 days a week and typically at the same time everyday, 9am. I started with Turbo Jam, then did Tae-bo and now am doing Body Jam and Body Combat. I just love the last 2 and they are helping me tighten up my loose skin and get me to my goal.

I have gone from a size 22W in shirts and XXL pants to a size S/M in shirts and size 5 jeans and bottoms.

Thanks for looking! :sifone:

I have my MySpace in my signature as well as my blog. My MySpace contains a LOT more before and afters (you have to be a friend to see them) and my blog is just where I babble about weight loss, what I'm feeling etc, that I don't think anyone wants to hear about everyday, so, I talk to the blog..lol It contains some pics as well, but not as much as my MySpace.

Guess I should add a picture of me in clothing no? lol
Before:

After: Valentines Day 2009.

Jeans are size 5 low rise from Wet Seal.

These are my kiddos and I like my legs in this picture.

for the record you cant have invisible watermarking lol. But yeah I had my pics also stolen and used on weight loss websites :)

Good job on the weight loss, im surprised you had a bikini when you were that big! :D

oh yeah, are you gonna get skin removed?
I know you can hide it with clothes, but they never seem to fit quiet right. and a bikini never looks the same with the flab! :D
My daughter told me i could never do belly dancing because i might knock people out with the spare tummy skin :)

Wow, in the face pictures you don't even look like the same person! You also look genuinely happy too! Great job, that's astounding =D

You should be so proud of yourself you have done an amazing job. Keep up the good work. Thank you for posting these pics it's really inspiring.

Awesome job! You look wonderful. Thank you for posting your pictures, they are a real inspiration.

Thanks everyone.

Juliana, I am happy now. :driving: Back then, not so happy. :ack2:

Actually, you can have watermarking that you can't see. Its called digital watermarking. Check it out-

No, I do not plan on removing any excess skin. I'm going to keep going and tighten my skin up. I am not finished and I WILL be a success story that doesn't need to remove excess skin. I don't have very much excess skin and if the worst thing visually I have is a messed up belly button, so be it. If you're thinking that the front part under my belly where the suit is all saggy is skin, its not. The bikini bottom is just that loose. I do have a little bit of love handles on the sides of my belly but the more I keep going, the more they are lifting and shrinking. High intesnity cardio (the body combat) is seriously working. I've had 2 kids via C-section, I'm done with surgeries. My c section scar is barely visible and its a double cut scar. Theres no excess skin there at all. A scar across my abdomen from hip to hip versus a funny belly button isn't worth thousands of dollars. Just like you can "cover" up that scar, the same goes for the skin, whatever of that I have left when I'm finished. Slow and steady wins the race. I also do not care to wear a bikini while in public, I don't have a reason to. They have very cute tankinis and also monokinis that will cover up just what I need and to me are way sexier then a bikini. There are also no plans of trotting around in belly shirts, I think I'm ok with how my skin looks and have faith it will look better when Im at goal. I've changed my skin a whole lot to think I cant do it.

I didn't actually "own" a bikini while that big. Its just what I used for my pictures. I have not once in my entire life stepped out in a bikini for anything, just these pictures in my bathroom. The bikini was my best friends and I decided to just use it to show weight loss progress without being naked when she didnt want it anymore. She spent $100 on it so I figured why let her just throw it away.

6 week difference. My lower tummy pulled up a little bit in that time.

5 month difference. (Homemade Halloween costume, I was a lady bug) I look bloated in the before pic but as you can see, after time the belly is slowly going. Check the difference in the stripes, I was pleased to see that and shocked.

Tightening up "excess skin" is possible, you just can't expect it to happen overnight. I have taken a long time to get where I am and because of that, I whole heartedly believe I will have a tightened tummy when I hit goal.

A 6 pack? Not hardly, and I don't want that, thats too much work to keep up. Just a firmer tummy I am happy with and I feel I'm almost there. It's all I have to lose.
