Hey, Im a 21 year old college student trying to finally put my foot down and stay motivated to stick to a health program. I pretty much know all the things to lose weight and gain muscle....the problem is just trying to stick with it. Im learning to have more patience and not wanting everything so fast in my diets.

This site seems like a good place to learn about some of the things i need help on in a safe matter. Im about 5'8'' and was 200lbs. That leaves me with alot of flab everyway but its not too bad. I wanna tone up before its too late when i get up in age and everything slows down. I go to the gym on a 4-day strength training and 35 minute cardio each day. The trainers there said its best to work on abs everyday since thats where most men get flabby.

Well thats basically it....just wanted to introduce myself to the world and get ready for the "The Rated R Superstar"

Welcome

I'm new too.

I find that getting a routine every morning of affirmations and visualation helps me stay motivated. Within a few days I'm so pumped I've got to concentrate on lowering my expectations.

I believe it is consistency. Everyday. Start every day the right way.

Good Luck

Well I have a trick that keeps me motivated but I don't know if it would work for everyone!
Last summer I was at my heaviest ever and once I started to lose weight I kept the jeans that were too tight for me then.
I hang those from my wardrobe so I can see them everytime I leave or enter my bedroom.
THE SIZE OF THEM! MY GOD. It makes me feel physically sick to think they were too tight. That keeps me motivated for sure!!!!!

Also I'm 22 so I have the same concerns about losing weight now before my skin doesn't bounce back.
Good luck with your journey and visit here as regularly as you can, it's also a great motivator.
The Before, After and In between section is incredibly inspiring :)
