20lb gone club

So New Bride and I have teamed up on a buddy system,..those that read our diaries already know.

Newbride (korrie) is starting back up and I made a deal with her I would do her first goal with her (20 pounds),..pound per pound ,...as I am trying to keep myself motivated or get the pump back going to finish up the last of my weight loss plan. Kinda like having a gym buddy, diet buddy that keeps ya on track

We have given ourselves until June 21 to take off 20 pounds,...that is 12 weeks,..just over 1.5 lbs a week. Also we are going to do at least 135 minutes of cardio/work out each week 3x 45 min...or 5X 30 ...our choice.

If we reach our June 21 goal I will only have about 15 lbs left to go my total weight loss of 100lbs ,...and Korrie will be well on her way!!!!! We all want to see her be successful as we have so much faith she can do this!!!!!!

We are making each other accountable,..she needs to encourage my trips to the gym ,...and she wants good ole support, and motivation!!!!!!

Others have expressed an interest in joining us.....the more the merrier. I thought just post here if you want to join us on the 20lbs count down, post in your diary as usual,..but on Mondays,...put in your weight loss progress so we know how you are doing (one reporting place) ....Also let us know what you need help with...getting to the gym...support,...to vent....


Lets look nice in those shorts this summer!!!!!!!! :p
 
Thankfully it’s just starting to get cooler here so loosing 20 pounds + before next summer sounds like a good idea to me so im in.
 
I'm in too! Although I'm not sure that I want to loose quite 20 lbs... I'm at about 155 right now, so 15 is my goal for that same time period. But I'm totally up for this and need something new to get me going!!!
 
Okay - here is my Monday update.

Starting w/ this 20 lb club: 154

Today's weigh-in: 154 :(

What I need help with: My problem this past week is that I didn't exercise enough and I didn't watch what i was eating quite enough. Well, drinking is probably the better way to look at it. I went out three times and had a few too many drinks, and then never had enough water. I could use some encouragement/reminders about making sure I get at least 64 oz a day!

Goals for myself for next week: exercise every day! I have put up a calendar for the month of april and every day I work out, I get a sticker! I started on Saturday, and so far, three days straight! Also - go out only once - or less - for drinks.
 
Amomono don’t worry about not loosing this week I think you have done well with the amount of times you went out, there are so many temptations when we have a few drinks and you must have been pretty good not to have put on congratulations.
 
I lost 100grams this week lol I guess it’s a start. It’s my own fault though, I didn’t exercise at all.
My goal this week is to exercise at least 3 times.
 
thats really kewl! i was thinking of trying to start up some kind of competition like that, but in a group way. but its already april 5th....oh well maybe may 1st!
 
So who weighted in on Monday and who lost their pound and a half??? I feel short loosing only half a pound, but I'll make it up this week and loose 2.5 to help stay on track!
 
I posted up there a little ways - and didn't lose anything! but i'm doing much better this week and hope to have some good results to share =)
 
GREAT! Glad to hear it! I don't know how I missed your post. Anywho...I cant say but I don't think anyone had a good "1st week" . How's the excersize and water intake going so far this week?? I sure miss our president!! Lol, where is she?
 
I know!! i hope that everything is okay... Tomorrow is another post day.. i hope that we have all had better weeks!!! I look forward to your posts!

What I need help with: I need to keep reminding myself to drink my daily water! I also have a one a day supplement that i keep meaning to take and forgetting.. i need to make sure i do that after lunch each day!

Goals for myself for next week: exercise 5 days a week for half an hour (increasing my running time). drink 64 oz of water each day!
 
how many people are in this thing? well i havent really started back exercising yet, seems ever since i got back from arizona i have been sick. one of my kids ha been sick since easter! and now i have tonsilitis...was in bed the past 3 days with high fevers. but as of now i'm 144. maybe i will lose weight just from being sick? cuz i havent been eating much it hurts too much to swallow. but i will at least be drinking my water as i do everyday.
 
oh goodness! that's not fun... =( I think there are about 5 people who wanted to do this, but i haven't really seen anyone else posting... =(
 
I weighed in last night and I stayed the same so I have lost 100g in the last two weeks. I think I have some catching up to do.
 
woo hoo! We typically try to post every monday in this forum... well, it hasn't really gotten started very well yet, but hopefully everyone will get excited and do this with us =)
 
I really thought this would take off better than it did. I really rely'd on Jennifer to help me get through this. However, I realized I'm just going to have to step up and do it. I can't allow any more excuses to cause me to get sidetracked.

Where are the other members of the club? Come on Girls we can do this! June is not too far away and its not too late to get started.
 
well I will start with last monday...I was 236 lbs then, I will post on this monday what I am then :) It has been a good week so far and I think I will have some prgress then :D
