Hello everyone….thank you for the kind words……
I’ve been on Weight Watchers since 5/2007; being on Weight Watchers has taught me balanced eating habits and moderation (and you really can eat what you want…in moderation). I’ve had no surgery and haven’t taken any so called “diet” pills….they just don’t work! I’ve continued to eat all of my favorite foods while continuing to loose weight.
My workout routines consist of a combination of cardio and weight training. Doing this regimen has aided in my weight loss; an example of my week is as follows:
Sunday-Run 3.5 to 5 miles; weights (PM only)
Monday- Run 5.5 to 9 miles; weights (AM & PM)
Tuesday- Run 6 to 8 miles; weights (AM & PM)
Wednesday- Run 5.5 to 8 miles (AM only) PM Rest
Thursday- Run 3.5 to 5 miles; weights AM Rest (PM only)
Friday- Run 3.5 to 5 miles; weights (AM & PM)
Saturday- Yard work; Run 3.5 to 5 miles; weights (AM only)
I also do a variety of cardio workouts like stair master, bike, and the elliptical machine; but my favorite is running.
My blood pressure has decreased from 145/100 to a nice 110/68 and my cholesterol for the first time in years is below 190.
None of this would have been possible for me to do at my heaviest weight. When I started working out, I barely was able to do 5 minutes of cardio activity. But through hard work and dedication, I’ve been able to exceed what I thought I could do. I’m at my lowest weight
EVER as an adult; and I
Love IT.
Keep believing in yourself and have patience; you’ll be surprised what you can accomplish.
