I've been reading these diary's for over a year now and figured it might be time I started one.
So here's my story. On my 19th birthday I was, to say the least, unhappy. I had barely graduated high school with a 1.1 GPA and was already on academic probation at the community college I was attending. All the friends I had in high school had gone off to college and were doing new and exciting things and they had left me behind. To top it off all off I was severely overweight.
So that day I decided to change everything. I began focusing more on school, I started to rely less on the approval of others and gain peace within myself, and I started to diet and exercise.
I was 293(thus the screen name) on my 19th birthday. On my 20th I was down to 226, but over the mast 6 months I've been so busy with the new college I transferred to(DePaul University) that I've become less than vigilant about my diet/exercise. I've gained back about 13 pounds and am now at 239.
Hopefully this diary will help me stay consistent and reach sub-200lbs by my 21st birthday which is in late August.

Lol I miss college, I graduated 2 years ago and in the last 6 months before graduating, all I ate was salad and chicken soup and hit the elliptical for an hour a night...ended up losing about 15lbs pretty quickly but that was such a non-sustainable diet that i put it ALL back on (and about 15lbs more
