Hi, I'm Michelle I am 20 years old and after gall bladder surgery and bad eating habits I have gain weight on top of being over weight and now I weight 200 lbs. I am 5'9 so it is a little less noticeable than if I were 5'0 ft tall. But I feel unhealthy, un-pretty and plain old fat. I here to have a support group through my journey. I plan on losing 50lbs by September and learn better eating habits and how to use my college budget and eat well. I hope I can help others through their journey to healthier life and better self as well.
A little about me... I currently am a college student studying hospitality and tourism. I've struggled with weight all through out my life. I over eat and go to food when I have depressive moments. Living in a Hispanic home did not help either, big portions and greasy meals are norm in my home. In college I hoped that I would eat better. I weighted 180lbs when i came to college and gain 15lbs eating bad cafeteria food and late night taco bell. Last summer I tried to lose weight and successfully lost 25 pounds and for the first time in 3 years i weighted 170lbs. But as soon as I came back for the fall semester I gained 10lbs back. In the spring semester I had emergency gall bladder surgery. I remained at 180 but when I began to eat normal again I gained the weight and some. I reached my all time high of 200lbs I never believed I could get that big and unhealthy. I want to be healthy and like working out, which now I do none of, and be happy young person and not worry about weight.
Please contact me and reply to thread I surely will appreciate all the support!
