Hi, I've been working out for a month now and have lost about 15lbs. I'm currently 260lbs and I want to be 180. I wear a size 16 and i'd like to be a size 9/10. I certainly think that's achievable in the next 6-8months.

Problem: I need some more foods to cook myself, my eatting is a lot better then it was before, no fried foods and snacks. I just get tired of eatting salmon all the time. Also, I'm looking for a work out routine to try at the gym per week. Trainers at the gym (i don't have 1 but i do ask them for advise) think im doing too much cardio and I should be lifting more. I want to lose weight and tone but I don't understand how lifting weights more then cardio is going to get me to size 9/10. I know weight lifting is good and I do that also but they just said more weight lifting and less cardio. To me cardio= weight loss and weight lifting= muscle weighing more then fat and keeping me around 250lbs!

What do you think and do you have any routines for me weekly that have helped you change your body?

Also, my stomach is my biggest area so I want that to get a lot smaller....

i say do both... weight lift for muscle definition but cardio to get rid of fat to see the muscles.. both are important good luck and good job so far!!!

One thing any weight-loss enthusiast will know is that muscle burns fat, the other advantage is you'll look a lot more tone than you would otherwise (besides saggy skin and an untoned figure is not what you're aiming for I presume)
