17 Year Old Who Wants To Know How To Become Personal Trainer

Hi. I'm turning 17 soon and I already work at a Gold's gym but I just re-rack weights and keep the locker room clean for 20 or so hours a week. I want to be ready and all set up when I turn 18 to apply to be a trainer. I asked one trainer who works there about it and he said he studied for about 6 months out of some book and took a really tough test. Is that basically all I have to do or is there more? Thank you

There are more I just like this ones

Make sure you just don't study but learn and keep learning. A certification doesn't make you a good trainer. Also Books give you ideas not principles no matter what the title of the book is.

The best certifications are acredited and have a continuing education program you must follow in order to keep your certification.

Keep learning

How about a good school?

Hey I just went to this school for training: Hilltop Academy (they're online www . hilltopacademy . ca )

They were great! They help you get a job to when you are done.
