17 Year old looking for a workout plan and a diet plan

Im 5'11 and i weigh 240 pounds I'm not the kind of kid who just sits on his ass all day. I play Football and Rugby and i really enjoy the sports. But playing those sports really don't do anything towards me losing weight. I'm looking into losing 50 pounds at least i know its going to be hard but I'm going to do it anyways. Could someone tell me what nutrition things i should eat everyday and how many times and how long i should run each day. Also i was wondering do you lose muscle when you lose weight because I've lifted weights in the past and i got some muscles on my arms.

If anybody could help me out i would appreciate it thank you.

If you play Football and Rugby and aren't losing weight then you are eating too much. It's all about consuming less calories than you burn. If your weight is stable then cut out 500 calories a day and you'll lose weight.

So do you think playing rugby and football is enough physical activity for me to lose weight and football seasons finished by the way and rugby's almost done too. i used to weigh 280lb and im not going gain that much weight ever again

Have you ever heard of P90X or Insanity? These are both great workouts that can get you in the best shape of your life! I've been doing P90X for a few weeks and I have already noticed a difference in my body. It's a major confidence booster and it comes with a nutrition guide that tells you what to eat, it also gives you a workout guide depending on the results you want. If you want more information just let me know! :)

Dude the best way to lose your weight is to follow a balanced diet plan regularly and also do regular workouts..! Your diet plan must only contains low calories food and drinks and avoid eating junk meals..If you will follow it properly then you will see a big change in your weight loss after sometime...!!!

hey big boi, here's a start, eat breakfast, drink water, and start a gradual calorie reduction, you also have to start to think about what you are eating, start becoming aware, it sounds like you have a long way to go but you are here so that is a start, football and rugby are big man sports, you are going to have to do some serious cardio in between games as well to burn extra calories.
