15 Year Old Trying to Slim Down - Help!

Hi,
I'm a 15 year old freshmen. I am going to do wrestling this season, and am trying to make it to 145. I'm currently about 5'6" and 153-155 right now. My diet is pretty bad, not going to lie, but I have weight class everyday at school which involves different sets of muscles each day. I.E. Legs Monday + Friday, Arms Tuesday + Thursday Abs Weds. This varies weekly but usually consists of that. I am pretty strong, I just have a layer of fat on my stomach, thighs, and a little in my pecs. I also have wrestling conditioning twice a week, and pick-up hockey once a week. I work out sometimes occasionally when i feel motivated, but it just isn't enough. I really want to make weight, and potentially lose excess fat that i do not need. Any help/tips would really be appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

Many overweight teens are interested in burning fat and losing weight as quickly as possible. With some effective lifestyle changes, teens can burn fat fast and become leaner and healthier. Just read couple of my advice with care:

• Begin a cardiovascular exercise regimen. Cardiovascular exercise burns fat and calories, which help you, achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Start with short cardiovascular workouts, such as running, walking, dancing, skating or bicycling, and gradually work up to the recommended 60 minutes per day of vigorous activity is advised.

• Begin a strength-training regimen. Strength training builds muscle, which burns more calories than fat and raises overall metabolism. To burn fat as fast as possible, strength train two times per week, working all major muscle groups. Use handheld weights, common household items like water bottles or soup cans if you don't own weights or your own body weight to provide resistance.

• Move as much as possible. To burn fat, you must burn calories. Burn even more calories throughout your day by increasing your physical activity even when you're not exercising. This could include taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking or biking to school instead of driving or taking the bus and meeting friends for a walk instead of a movie.

• Reduce your caloric intake in a healthy way by decreasing or eliminating high-fat, high-calorie snacks and desserts such as cookies, candy chips, and soda. To burn fat fast, you must take in fewer calories than you burn through exercise and normal daily activity. By cutting out unhealthy junk foods, you will cut substantial calories from your diet.

• Reduce your snack and meal portion sizes. This will additionally decrease your calories and help you lose weight.

• Focus on lower-calorie, nutritious food choices instead of processed foods. Fruits and vegetables, lean protein, whole grains and low-fat dairy foods are all solid sources of nutrients and make up a healthy diet.

Lastly, You need to be committed to yourself. If you stop in the middle stage then it would not work. All of your hard works would be vain.
