Hello!

I weighed myself today. I'm 209.2 Ibs. My target is 195 Ibs. Welcome to the thunderdome.

Anyone got any tips?

My weight for the past few is as follows.

01/07/2013 - 217.6
04/07/2013 - 212.8
08/07/2013 - 213.8
09/07/2013 - 209.2

I love you...podgy or not.

Welcome to the forum.

It certainly looks like you are doing great... You are getting results so the main thing is to eat healthily and exercise - basically get into the swing of adopting a healthy lifestyle... When you have dropped the 14 pounds you will find that it is best maintained by keeping up that healthy lifestyle with just a little modification to bring the calorie balance to an even balance instead of a deficit for weight loss.

Have you ever tried using a meal replacement shake or going on a program like that? Sometimes our body needs good but different nutrition. Time to kick it up a notch maybe

Most people find that meal replacements don't work too well in the long term. They certainly do nothing to teach us new healthy eating habits - they do nothing for teaching us how much protein, fibre, calcium etc we need or about portion control. They just teach us how to get into the "make a shake company rich by paying them lots of money while we lose weight - then gain it again" loop.
