100lbs, a losers diary!

I have decided to re-think my challenge, my goals and my approach to my weight loss.

No more fads, no more feeling starving hungry. Just healthy eating and making my fitness fun.

I started at 266lbs, this is my heaviest weight.
I am now 230lbs and my goal weight is 166lbs.

So, at 36lbs lighter and with another 64lbs to lose I am feeling positive, energetic and just a little bit sexier than I did before :)

MY GOALS:
I want to lose 2lbs this week.
I want to lose 6lbs this month.
I want to have lost 15lbs by Christmas.
I want to have lost 31lbs by Valentines Day.
I want to have lost 35lbs by my Birthday on March 18th
I want to have lost 45lbs by August 1st
I want to have lost 50lbs by next Halloween
I want to reach my target weight of 166lbs by end of 2011
I want to maintain my weight.

I think bread might be my enemy but its sooooooo good :(
I am enjoying some lovely compliments from people here in my home town but I definately need to end my love relationships with the local bakery, its something of a struggle in a small swiss village :/
 
2nd November - 229.6

Did really well yesterday on the exercise but ended badly with food.
I need to get out of the habit I have to sit and eat whilst I watch TV once my daughters have gone to bed. Maybe I could start sewing or even knitting, although I am pretty sure my husband would laugh me out of the house.
Off for my walk now but the kids are not keen. Its settling to snow and its cold out. They get bored in the double pram and they have recently started squabbling when they have had enough. Thank apple for the ipod though, I just turn up the volume and let them get on with it.
Todays mini goals,
Find more up tempo workout music
Do lower body and abdominals before lunch
Do upper body and abdominals before bed.
Drink my 2ltrs of water
Eat no chocoalte coins, give to kids or throw away!

Each day at a time right?
 
I am wondering if my medication is working anymore.
I am much more jittery and forgetful over the last day or two, very disorganised and clumsy. Even Nick asked if I had taken my meds today. Maybe time to see the doc.
 
I think its ok, thanks Sunflower. I have ADHD and sometimes when I get stressed I have to take Ritalin to help get me together. I think I have been on a low dose, mostly because I don't want to take anything unless I have to. Ho hum, will see it through and hopefully will be back to my usual tai chi way of handling my condition in no time.
 
congratulations on your weight loss so far you are doing tremendously well! my aim is to drop 20lbs by christmas. Probably too high but i'll give it a go. 1lbs lost already and im on my way! woohoo!

Hey Holly, why don't you join the Valentines Challenge? There's prizes in it and we need one more to balance the teams!

Slept really well but woke up very sore and very tired this morning, 230.2lbs so a bit diissapointed. I really MUST stop weighing everyday.

Monday weigh in 229lbs so lost 1 miserable lb! Need to look at the diet and fix my mistakes. Its the only way.
Snow again last night and its beginning to get too deep for my walks. Time to dust off the eliptical machine and get pumping those weights!
