Another few to add
Never take yourself too seriously, no-one else will.
As you near your goals you or someone else will have moved the posts, if it's not you, motivation is an issue.
Stupidity is not something you grow out of it's something you hone to perfection over the years.
If you wan't power or size it's train hard, train heavy or take your belt and go home.
If you want the respect of your peer you have to earn it, this is not acheived by doing everything right alone it incorporates doing things wrong and learning from your mistakes.
Have aims in mind, them being unrealistic and you knowing it is not a problem, esecially when you were wrong.
Being right all of the time would have to be incredibly dull. Be prepared to be wrong as long as you are relatively safe Most importantly, don't let the experience stop you trying it again another time, you will change and wrong one day isn't wrong forever.
Be able to laugh at yourself and your insanity. If you are admiring your 12" inch biceps in a bodybuilders gym, others will be laughing at you, but if they were 10" a year ago you have still done well.
Never underestimate anyone, especially yourself.
That will do for now, boring as I am I have to stop somewhere.
