So what needs changing etc..? And How much weight loss should I expect?

WHOA! Your required calories to maintain your weight is something like 3,500. You should not be cutting your calories so drastically. For a decent loss of 2 pounds a week, you only need to cut 1,000 calories a day - which means you would be eating 2,500 calories NOT 1,200!

And I would skip the hydroxy cut. All you need to do is exercise and cut calories. Save your limited budget for other things, because I think this will be a waste of your money.

Read the nutrition stickies and adjust your plan so that you have a maintainable diet for the long run.

Yep. I'd agree with Madness.

Up the calories and ditch the Hydroxy Cut. This is used better on someone that has a low body fat percentage and would like to get ripped. not really suitable for your average overweight person.

There are BMR (Daily Energy Expenditure)calculators all over the net this tells you what your body needs to just maintain itself. You need to be 1000 - 1200 at most calories below this. Also note that this value changes when you loose weight.

this is going t ot ell you tha the plan only works if you follow a sensible diet and exercise plan.. if funds are tight -put the money you'd spend on the pills towards more calories.

And add resistance training to this as well. If you can't afford a gym membership, there are ways to do it using your own body weight. I think Steve has some in a stickie around here.

EDIT: here's the isometrics guy:

We're almost the same size. I'm 6'4'' and i started at 264 a week ago. I've been eating 1700-1900 calories a day, walking 2 miles 3 times a week and doing calistenics at night and I've lost 4 pounds and a few inches (Already in my old jeans from last year).

Seriously, don't cut THAT many calories out yet.
