Hi..

I'm new here, hopefully this forum will answer some of my questions about getting in shape and staying that way, and hopefully I can help some people too.

I'm joining the Marine Corps in 5-6 months, so as of last month I've been working out everyday, strength/stamina mostly focusing on upperbody because I managed to keep my lower body somewhat in shape. If I don't get in some sort of shape before bootcamp, bootcamp will kick my ass haha. If anyone has tips as far as bootcamp goes that would be great.

hey there! And welcome to the site. Run, Run, Run, That's what your going to do in bootcamp fo sho! pushups, body weight squats, exercise videos that are plyometric, also just do lots of start stop stuff, like sprints, and all that.

Trying to put on some muscle within 5 months is probably not going to help you much, and you may just gain muslce mass, that boot camp is going to burn off.

In the Fitness tools, there is a VO2 tester. Go try that physical test and see where you stand.

Congratz on your decision.
